Too many New Yorkers are watching their kids, parents and friends leave the state because they can’t afford to stay. New York For Everyone exists to change that, by holding Albany accountable and fighting for policies that put working families first.
The reasons people leave are familiar to anyone who lives here: the cost of housing, the tax bill, the utility bill, the grocery bill, the price of child care, and the feeling that the streets and subways aren’t as safe as they should be. These aren’t partisan problems. Every family pays them, in every corner of the state.
We believe the answer starts with listening. We ask New Yorkers what’s hurting them most, we collect their stories, and we bring those voices to the people who make decisions in Albany. We’ll work with anyone, from any party, who’s serious about lowering costs and keeping communities safe, and we’ll say so clearly when lawmakers aren’t.
Our goal is simple: a New York where the next generation can afford to stay, where small businesses can afford to open their doors, and where every family feels safe at home.
