You won’t: (a) submit false or misleading information or impersonate anyone; (b) submit content that’s unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes someone else’s rights; (c) interfere with the Site’s operation or security, or try to access it by automated means without permission; or (d) use the Site to send spam or unsolicited messages.
3. Your submissions (stories, photos, comments, and form entries)
When you submit a story, photo, survey answer, or other content ("Submission"), you confirm that: it’s your own and truthful to the best of your knowledge; you have the right to share it, including permission from anyone identifiable in a photo (and a parent’s or guardian’s permission for any minor); and it doesn’t violate anyone’s rights or the law.
You keep ownership of your Submission. If you check the box allowing us to share your story publicly, you grant NYFE a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, edit for length and clarity, and publish your story and your photo (if provided) on our website, social media, email, printed materials, and fundraising and advertising materials. We’ll use your name only as you select: full name, first name and county, or anonymous. If you don’t check that box, we’ll use your Submission internally only. You may ask us to stop using your Submission in new materials at any time by emailing info@nyforeveryone.org. We aren’t obligated to publish or keep any Submission and may decline or remove any Submission at our discretion.
4. Our content
The Site’s text, graphics, logos, and other content belong to NYFE or its licensors and are protected by law. You may share links to the Site and quote brief excerpts for non-commercial, informational purposes with attribution. You may not alter or misuse our name or logo, or suggest that NYFE endorses you, without our written permission.
5. Donations
